Ideation

Every successful molecule starts with the right questions. In the Tillage stage, our organometallic chemists work directly with you to define what to make and why.

What Happens:

1 Seed

Research

With a validated target, we move into the lab. The Seed stage is where we prove your molecule can be made — and made well.

What Happens:

  • 25g feasibility synthesis to establish a workable route
  • Initial characterization and purity verification
  • Thermal stability testing (TGA/DSC) and basic property evaluation
  • Early identification of synthesis challenges or scale-up risks

Outcome:

A complete feasibility assessment with empirical data — not just theory. You’ll know whether this molecule is ready to move forward, and what it will take to get there.

2 Sprout

Development

Promising molecules need more than a synthesis route. The Sprout stage builds the full infrastructure around your compound.

What Happens:

  • Synthesis route optimization and refinement for reproducibility
  • Analytical method development and validation
  • Packaging and delivery system design — what container, what configuration?
  • Logistics and handling requirements for air-sensitive or pyrophoric materials
  • Regulatory and compliance pathway definition (TSCA, REACH, etc.)

Outcome:

A development-ready molecule with locked-in analytical methods, packaging specs, and a clear compliance pathway. Everything needed to move into engineering scale.

3 Tree

Engineering

This is where lab-scale chemistry becomes a manufacturing process. The Tree stage translates your validated synthesis into production-ready operations.

What Happens:

  • Process development on scaled-up equipment (pilot reactors, purification systems)
  • Manufacturing process documentation — work instructions, process parameters, control points
  • Supply chain qualification — raw materials, intermediates, backup sources
  • Legal and commercial framework — contracts, pricing models, capacity planning

Outcome:

A fully engineered manufacturing process ready for high-volume production. The molecule you qualified is the exact molecule you’ll receive at scale.

4 Forest

High-Volume Manufacturing

Your product enters sustained production. The Forest stage is about operational excellence and continuous improvement.

What Happens:

  • Production under ISO 9001-certified quality systems
  • Rigorous in-process controls and final QC with Certificate of Analysis for every batch
  • Process data collection and statistical analysis (SPC, Cpk)
  • Full change management — any modification is documented, reviewed, and validated
  • Safety stock strategies and business continuity planning
