Tetravinylsilane, plasma-polymerized, was used to surface modify glass fibers to improve the interfacial adhesion of a GF/polyester composite. Plasma polymer films of this product were deposited on silicon wafers using an RF glow discharge operated at a pulsed regime, where the effective power was ranging from 0.1 to 150 W. Two precursors, TESi and TVSi were used to prepare SixC_1–x coatings by chemical vapour deposition. See links below
