Bis(triisopropylcyclopentadienyl)barium tetrahydrofuran adduct is used as a precursor for the ALD/CVD depositing of Barium-containing thin films such as BaTiO₃ and BaZrO₃. Barium containing thin films finds applications as host lattices for luminescent materials, high-temperature superconductors, high permittivity dielectrics, and ferroelectrics.
