Diethyldicyclopentadiene is used for the synthesis of organometallic compounds. The CVD of carbon and carbon-related compounds are very well developed. This includes, for example, the CVD preparation of carbon nanotubes (CNT), graphene, diamond thin films., as well as various carbon-doped materials (such us C-doped GaAs, AlGaAs, etc.).
