Ba(TMHD)2(phenanthroline)2 is used as an intermediate for preparing the precursors of metal-organic sources by dissolving in tetrahydrofuran (THF). This product has been used as a precursor for the single liquid source pulsed injection MOCVD technique to deposit high-quality heteroepitaxial structures containing YBa2Cu3O7-x(YBCO), SrTiO3 (STO) and La1-xSrxMnO3 (LSMO) layers.
