Tetravinylsilane, plasma-polymerized, was used to surface modify glass fibers to improve the interfacial adhesion of a GF/polyester composite. Plasma polymer films of this product were deposited on silicon wafers using an RF glow discharge operated at a pulsed regime, where the effective power was ranging from 0.1 to 150 W. Two precursors, TESi and TVSi were used to prepare SixC1–x coatings by chemical vapour deposition. See links below
